MY INSPIRATION

When coaching the art of resume writing with clients, this little line from the song “Whatever it Takes” by the Imagine Dragons usually comes to mind when thinking about their hopes and frustrations: “I’m an apostrophe, I’m just a symbol to remind you that there’s more to see.”

For me, this image of the apostrophe and its purpose in contractions—to hide letters—summarizes the challenge clients have during the writing process. They often become frustrated that they can’t convey who they believe they are on paper. Like the apostrophe with the missing letters, they feel hidden. They want what is special about them to be seen.

When creating my company, I wanted to convey this same positive message of power and persistence that I hear in the line from the Imagine Dragons. Writing takes time and patience and requires us to be kind to ourselves. My goal is to build career materials and provide impactful coaching so that you feel prepared and confident during your job search. Together, we will uncover your unique brand promise and highlight your career story so you CAN reach your own POSSIBLE.
